Shoe serial production means, first of all, using lasts that are very exact and accurate. At this purpose Formificio ENZO produces lasts made of high-density polyethylene with the best and most innovative technology available. It permits to carry out lasts of very high quality and accuracy, fully turned, also tip and heel without any manual final touch. Concerning last articulation you can have wedge, alfa (V) or tendo (california) joints. For shoe factories with very refined products we can also make alfa joint with wedge.
Plates can be put on the heel, to the half, to ¾ of the last or the last can be fully plated.
The last imprinting is still carried out by traditional manual marking.
For this part of production Formificio ENZO decided to start a research of an automatic imprinting process in association with Automation Departement of Università Politecnica delle Marche, but this will be part of the next technological revolution on last handling in it productive process; we will inform you about it.
